So I spent my first day of the year trying to be productive as possible. After New Year’s Eve, I stayed up until 4:00am in front of the computer. Woke up at 7:00am to get ready for Church with my sister and heard mass at 8:00am. In the afternoon I went to Miguel’s place. Greeted his parents a Happy New Year. I was also able to visit our guinea pigs, Sparky, Penny and Almond. Then we went around the city realizing almost all the stores were closed except the mall. We planned to go inside for some Jollibee take out but took a short detour to a friend’s place to see the beautiful coi fish his friend was selling and breeding. They were really large and mesmerizing to watch as they swim with their long pretty fins. Then we went back home to his place eating Jollibee food and lots of fries. We were chilling outside their porch and had conversations about his past home. Miguel has been crazy about fish and has been buying a lot of cois and goldfish. I helped him fix his pond. Well, I was more like playing with the fish instead and observed him fix the filter. It amazes me how creative he is at building things, much like a handyman. Made me fall for him even more. Suddenly my phone received a text from my sister asking me to buy something for her so we head out. We were able to make a short stop at the Church to light a candle before he dropped me off home.

And here I am, laying in my bed thinking about him. How much I love him. Thinking I only have about 6months left here before going back to Jersey and leaving him and all my friends and some of my family in this hometown. I don’t know where I’d be right now if I hadn’t bumped into this guy.
